Riviera Maya

The Riviera Maya is a beautiful stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula. The area is renowned for an abundance of resorts as well as luxury villas. To the south of the region is Tulum – home to the preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan Port city perched above a beach.

DINING, BARS AND NIGHTLIFE

The Riviera Maya has a large range of dining options from swanky hotel restaurants to take away outlets and local restaurants. The region of Riviera Maya historically  started at the city of Playa del Carmen and ended at the village of Tulum, although Cancun is also now promoted as part of the region. Cancun is known for it’s nightlife with lively bars and clubs, including the famous Coco Bongo.
