Jamaica has long established itself as the go-to island in the Caribbean. Whether you are looking for adventure or to simply relax on one of the many white sandy beaches, Jamaica offers something for everyone. The island is the third largest of the Greater Antilles and is over 4400 square miles in area. Beautiful rugged mountains dominate the inland whilst beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters surround the island. The main areas of interest are Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril. Direct flights operate from the UK to Montego Bay and Kingston. Montego Bay is located on the north west of the island with Negril on the western side of Jamaica. Ocho Rios can be found on the north side of the island, towards the east.

Montego Bay is the capital of St. James Parish and the second largest city in Jamaica by area. A popular tourist destination thanks in part to the restaurants, attractions, duty free shopping and beautiful beaches.

Negril is a small beach resort located across parts of 2 parishes – Westmoreland and Hanover. It is located just over an hour from Montego’s International Airport on the West Coast of Jamaica, which features the island’s finest beaches – Negril has often been referred to as “7-Mile Beach” although it is only slightly more than 4 miles in length.

Ocho Rios is a town in the parish of Saint Ann. Just outside the town, tourists can visit Columbus Park, where Columbus supposedly first came on land. Ocho Rios is the location we recommend to adrenalin? junkies as it hosts a range activities and attractions in a 10 mile radius including Dolphin Cove. Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River Falls.

Jamaica certainly doesn’t disappoint when it comes to “things to do”. From hiking in the misty Blue Mountain tops, to horseback riding on the beach and warm river swims, Jamaica can offer you an action packed holiday. Popular activities include a visit to Dunn’s River Falls, jungle tubing, 4×4 off road adventures…or if golf is your activity of choice, Jamaica boasts 12 fine golf courses.

When the sun goes down, Jamaica comes to life – with reggae beats, live music and dancing on the beach until dawn… One of the popular hotspots is Margaritaville, located in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril. A relaxing bar/grill by day and dance venue by night.

There is a range of dining venues to choose from – anything from fusion food to haute cuisine.
