Villa Machiavelli is a legendary mansion and country estate, proudly watching over a historic estate of vineyards and olive groves in the Tuscan hills. Once owned by the Machiavelli family, this 15th century villa is a bona fide aristocratic palace renovated to modern day expectations.
The building itself is quite a marvel – a pink-hued Tuscan mansion with graceful arches and elegant lines. The interior is quite as remarkable as the exterior, with a classical Tuscan ambiance, perforated with heirloom touches such as antique artworks and dramatic painted frescoes. The main piano salon is what many consider to be the heart of the villa, with elegant seating and wonderful natural lighting. Nearby is a formal dining room, providing a formal setting for high-class meal times. Both rooms link to an extensive outdoor terrace where views of the Tuscan countryside abound. A large high-quality kitchen provides the necessary setting for gastronomic delights. A further luxury is the on-site wellness centre, complete with sauna, indoor swimming pool and Turkish bath for guests to indulge in. This villa is fully staffed for your comfort.
Outside, the villa dramatically towers over a vast estate of some 750 acres. Guests can discover hidden olive groves, secluded vineyards, and acres of Tuscan forest. There is also a classical outdoor swimming pool and plenty of sun terraces for al fresco relaxation. The sculpture garden completes the remarkable outdoor offering.
