Taman Ahimsa translates to mean ‘Garden of Peace’ and as soon as you arrive at the villa, you will know why. Taman Ahimsa is an oceanfront villa featuring seven bedrooms and is located within beautiful landscaped gardens on Bali’s southwest coast.
The villa has ample indoor and outdoor seating areas for socialising or pure relaxation. There are two living areas offering garden views, an indoor dining table to accommodate up to sixteen guests and a spacious TV room with DVD player, movie library and comfortable couches. You may prefer to relax outside and enjoy the magnificent views – there is a thatched poolside pavilion with seating for 16 persons and a decking area – perfect for yoga. Charming thatched bales are dotted throughout the garden providing shady escapes.
Each of the seven guest bedrooms are named after a Hindu chakra and boast a colour theme, a rich array of ornate artisanal fabrics and décor. Two of the upstairs bedrooms are linked by a bamboo bridge, making them ideal for families. Both these bedrooms have bamboo balconies. The remaining five bedrooms are privately laid out within Taman Ahimsa’s beautiful beachside gardens, including the master suites with its high-vaulted ceilings and luxuriously draped 2.3m wide bed. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom featuring a mix of indoor and outdoor areas.
The rates include a team of staff on hand to ensure you have a memorable holiday.
The villa is located in the wonderfully seaside village of Cemagi and is approached via rolling lush green rice paddies tended by local farmers. A few short steps and you are on the beach itself and unlike the crowded beaches at Kuta or Legian, you will have this one pretty much to yourself.
A short drive away are some of the islands best surf breaks, including Batu Bolong, Echo Beach and Sees. Nirwana Bali Golf Club, named one of the best golf courses in Asia, is a mere eight kilometres away and is one of the most exotic places to play a round of golf with its tropical setting and spectacular ocean backdrop. And guests should not miss watching the sun set over Tanah Lot, Bali’s most famous and revered temple, next to the Nirwana golf course.
The bustling town of Seminyak with it’s abundance of shops, bars and restaurants are only half an hour away by car.
