Villa Chorio

A beautiful and traditional villa handcrafted largely from local Sinies stone, Villa Chorio is set within private gardens in a charming Greek village by the Ionian Sea on the north-west tip of the island of Corfu.

This provincial four-bedroom Greek villa cleverly uses locally sourced stone both inside and out to create a wonderfully authentic and earthy look and feel.  You will arrive through a fenced garden, immediately giving the sense of privacy within a natural setting, with a Mediterranean bushes and plants as well as olive trees and groves creating a green wonderland that surrounds the property.  The house then opens to a spacious and attractive pool terrace in front of the olive groves and distant Ionian Sea.  During your stay you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the locally grown organic produce of the owner, whose lush gardens produce appetising homemade preserves, marmalades and dishes.

The interior of the villa is refreshingly bright and airy, with an open-plan and generously sized lounge area, with the kitchen and dining area leading off this, with stairs taking you to the upper level of the house.  Here two of the bedrooms are found, including the master bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with their own en-suite bathrooms.  A further two bedrooms are located on the ground floor.

If your group is larger, why not combine with neighbouring Cypressa which is under the same ownership, which accommodates up to 12 guests, ideal for a large family?
